10. Strength train and do interval exercise. There is a massive amount of information about exercise available, but here are a few ideas to get you started.
- a. Invest in a good video game program that gets you off the couch. The Wii has games, exercise programs and more that can be both fun and beneficial. VCR or Ipod programs can also be easy to institute and follow.
- b. Invest in a piece of home exercise equipment, An exercise bike doesn’t take up a lot of room and can be used no matter what they weather outside. If the day is nice, regular bicycling or inline skating can be a great way to relax your mind as well as work your body.
- c. If nothing else, walk. Up and down stairs, around your neighborhood, in a mall. Start slowly and graduallly go faster and faster. Soon you may even find yourself training to run a marathon!
- d. Do some research to find a complete program you can do at home or join an exercise club. Stick with a program it for at least 4 weeks, then change it up.
11. Make dinner your smallest meal of the day. Again, protein and vegetables. A broth soup makes a wonderful appetizer and studies have proven that people who eat a bowl of soup with their meal eat less calories overall.
12. Go easy on yourself. Get help. Get support. The 14 day Lemonade Weight Loss Diet can give you a jump start and help you on your journey. Take your vitamins. Overall, remember this is a lifestyle plan. Make it something you can really live with!
